The 2026/27 Coventry City Home Shirt draws inspiration from the club’s iconic 1987 FA Cup-winning kit, reimagined with a modern, performance-focused finish. A deeper sky blue base pays tribute to the shirt worn during that historic triumph, celebrating the club’s rich heritage.

Bold striped detailing spans the front, featuring a subtle four-tone sky blue jacquard pattern inspired by the celebrations that filled the city centre following the famous victory. Fine navy pinstripes within each stripe reference the original 1987 design, while navy accents on the collar and signature Hummel chevrons complete the look.

A stylised ‘1987’ is positioned at the back neck and incorporated into the internal neck tape as a subtle nod to Coventry City’s proud history. The stripe pattern gradually fades towards the back, creating a clean finish that provides the perfect backdrop for names and numbers.
